Procurement Management:
1. Identify and source quality raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies required for FMCG production.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
3. Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement.
Inventory & Stock Management:
1. Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
2. Coordinate with the warehouse and production team for smooth material flow.
Vendor Development & Evaluation:
1. Identify potential new suppliers and evaluate their reliability, quality, and delivery performance.
2. Maintain a database of approved suppliers.
Cost Optimization:
1. Analyze market trends and supplier performance to achieve cost reduction without compromising on quality.
2. Track and control procurement expenses to meet budget targets.
Purchase Order Management:
1. Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and on time.
2. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and standards.
Coordination:
1. Work closely with production, quality, and finance teams to align procurement activities with business requirements.
2. Resolve issues related to material shortages, delayed deliveries, or quality concerns.
Compliance & Reporting:
1. Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations and company policies related to procurement.
2. Generate regular reports on procurement status, supplier performance, and cost savings.
Required Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of FMCG procurement processes and market trends.
2. Good negotiation and communication skills.
3. Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
4. Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
5. Time management and multitasking skills.
